The Foo Fighters debuted a new song, “Arrows”, during a July 10 performance at the Odeio Herodou Attikou in Athens, Greece and video from the event has surfaced online.

The final date of the band’s European tour at the stone theater at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece – which was built in the year 161 AD – was filmed for the PBS series “Landmarks Live In Concert”, hosted by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

Captured in legendary destinations around the globe, the “artist-driven concert series” bills itself as being “as much about landmarks, as it is the music and the musicians who perform” on the program.

“Arrows” is the sixth track previewed in concert from the Foo Fighters’ forthcoming album, “Concrete And Gold,” following the live premieres of the lead single, “Run”, “La Dee Da” and “The Sky Is A Neighborhood” at the Secret Solstice Festival in Iceland on June 16, “Sunday Rain” at the Lucavsala festival in Riga, Latvia on June 21, and “Dirty Water” in Paris, France on July 3.

Due September 15, the group’s ninth release was co-produced by the band and Greg Kurstin (Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Sia) and mixed by Darrell Thorp (Beck, Radiohead).

The group will launch the project with a fall US tour that will begin with their own Cal Jam 17 festival at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino, CA on October 7.

The band’s salute to the original 1970s California Jam festivals will see them joined by more than a dozen acts, including Queens of the Stone Age, Cage The Elephant, Liam Gallagher, The Kills, Royal Blood, Japandroids, Wolf Alice, Bob Mould, and more.

The Foos will follow the Cal Jam 17 event with an October 12 performance at the grand opening of the new Washington, DC venue, Anthem, before bringing their live show to arenas across the US, with dates scheduled into December.
