VIDEO: Mick Jagger previews new music from The Rolling Stones

Mick Jagger is sharing a preview of new music from The Rolling Stones in a video released by the rocker on social media.

“Harmonica playing on new tunes!” writes Jagger alongside a clip of him performing in what appears to be a home recording studio setup.

The video follows a recent post by the singer from the same location – guitar in hand – with the caption: “Back to it.”

In the spring of 2017, Jagger revealed the group were working on new music for a follow-up to the 2016 covers album “Blue & Lonesome.”

Recorded over three days in December 2015 at British Grove Studios in West London, the sessions were originally planned to work on new Stones material, but the group got on a roll playing blues covers in the studio and kept recording.

“Blue & Lonesome” debuted at No. 1 in both the UK and Australia while snagging a No. 4 entry on the US Billboard 200, and earned the band a Grammy Award in the Best Traditional Blues Album category at the 60th annual Grammy Awards in New York in January.

The Rolling Stones recently wrapped up shows on their No Filter tour.

The band’s last album of original music was 2005’s “A Bigger Bang.”
