VIDEO: Def Leppard guitarist unplugs for Hysteria on Jonesy’s Jukebox

Phil Soussan and Vivian Campbell with Steve Jones

Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell delivered an impromptu, acoustic performance of the title track to the band’s 1987 album, “Hysteria”, during a recent appearance on Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones's radio show, "Jonesy's Jukebox."

Joined by bassist Phil Soussan, the pair were on hand at 95.5 KLOS Los Angeles to discuss “Last In Line II”, the new release from the former members of Dio, and their current US tour, which runs into May.

During the session, Campbell and Soussan also performed acoustic vesions of Dio’s "Rainbow In The Dark", and Thin Lizzy’s "Don't Believe A Word" and "Whisky In The Jar."

Campbell and the members of Def Leppard will be inducted by Queen guitarist Brian May into the 2019 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at the 34th annual ceremony in New York on March 29.

The band – who won the Fan Ballot with more than half a million votes – will be honored alongside Stevie Nicks, The Cure, Janet Jackson, Radiohead, Roxy Music and The Zombies.

Def Leppard will begin their 2019 live schedule at the Sweden Rock Festival on June 6 as part of a summer trek across Europe before launching a Canadian tour in July and their second Las Vegas residency in August.
