David Lee Roth announces Las Vegas residency



David Lee Roth will host a Las Vegas residency in early 2020.

"David Lee Roth: Rocks Vegas" will see the rocker deliver a changing set of 26 instantly recognizable songs, from Van Halen and his solo career, at the House Of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort And Casino with a three-show run in January a six-night series in March (see dates below).

"A weekend with me," laughs Roth, "is interactive way beyond just music. It starts with the best food on earth. The fellas smoke their three cigarettes for the year and we all stay up way past our bedtime!"

Ticket presales for Citi Card Members, SiriusXM, DLR Fan Club and M Life begins Tuesday, September 10 at 10 a.m. PT, while House Of Blues and Live Nation presales will start Wednesday, September 11 at 10 a.m. PT and general public seats will go on sale Saturday, September 14 at 10 a.m. PT at Ticketmaster.com.

Roth first revealed in May that he was in talks with the House Of Blues about hosting a possible residency at the venue.

The Van Halen frontman previously hosted a pair of residencies in Las Vegas in 1995 - at Bally's Hotel and Casino and at MGM Grand – with a band that featured Nile Rodgers, Edgar Winter and members of the Miami Sound Machine.
