Foo Fighters release No Son Of Mine video

The Foo Fighters have released a video for “No Son Of Mine”, from their newly-issued album “Medicine At Midnight.”

The clip mixes animation sequences overseen by Emlyn Davies with recent live footage and audio captured during a recent performance filmed by Danny Clinch at the band’s Studio 606 home base in California.

The Foo Fighters kicked off 2021 with the release of “No Son Of Mine” at midnight on New Year's Eve as they geared up for the February 5 arrival of their 10th studio record, which they co-produced with Greg Kurstin.

“This is the kind of song that just resides in all of us and if it makes sense at the time, we let it out,” explains Dave Grohl. “Lyrically it’s meant to poke at the hypocrisy of self-righteous leaders, people that are guilty of committing the crimes they’re supposedly against…”

The Foo Fighters are scheduled to perform on NBC-TV’s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, February 8 (tonight).
