Foo Fighters announce North American tour

The Foo Fighters have announced dates for a 2022 tour of North America.

The series will open with three US east coast gigs in May before the launch of a full stadium run that will begin July 17 at Citi Field in New York and wrap up with two nights in Los Angeles in mid-August.

Guests for the trek will be announced soon.

A series of presales are now underway, including one for Citi cardholders, while general public seats will go on sale Friday, December 3 at 10 a.m. local time.

Following their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame last month, the Foo Fighters received multiple nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards for work on their 2021 album, “Medicine At Midnight”; the project is in the running for Best Rock Album of the year, while the tune, “Making A Fire”, is a finalist for Best Rock Performance, and “Waiting On A War” sees all six members of the group named for the songwriters award Best Rock Song.
