Roger Waters to perform on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Roger Waters will perform on the Tuesday, June 21 episode of CBS-TV’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The rocker will launch his This Is Not A Drill North American tour in Pittsburgh, PA on July 6.

The 2022 series was originally set to take place in 2020, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

Waters recently expanded the tour with the addition of three new concert dates, including stops in Columbus, OH, Glendale, AZ and Austin, TX.

“This Is Not A Drill is a groundbreaking new rock & roll/cinematic extravaganza, performed in the round,” shared Waters in a recent statement. “It is a stunning indictment of the corporate dystopia in which we all struggle to survive, and a call to action to love, protect, and share our precious and precarious planet home.

“The show includes a dozen great songs from Pink Floyd’s Golden Era alongside several new ones — words and music, same writer, same heart, same soul, same man. Could be his last hurrah. Wow! My first farewell tour! Don’t miss it. Love, R.”
