Bret Michaels hospitalized as Poison cancel Nashville show

Poison were forced to cancel a June 30 appearance in Nashville, TN as part of the Stadium Tour with Motley Crue and Def Leppard after Bret Michaels was hospitalized due to "an unforeseen medical complication."

"To the incredible fans in Nashville, thank you for all your well wishes!!,”, shared Michaels on social media. "I was truly fired up to get on stage in the Music City and perform, but due to an unforeseen medical complication & following hospitalization, it was not possible. I send my deepest apologies for being unable to rock the stage tonight!!! I'm working on being back 100% very soon & hope you rocked hard with my friends Motley/Leppard/ Joan and Classless Act!!!"

At press time, there has been no further details provided about Michaels’ situation or the band’s status for upcoming dates on the 2022 series, which is next due to hit Jacksonville, FL on July 2.
