Megadeth premiere Killing Time video

Megadeth is premiering a video for “Killing Time”, the latest track issued from the band’s new album, “The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!”

Titled "Chapter V: Killing Time", the clip marks the fifth installment of a multi-part short film revealing the origins of the the group's iconic mascot Vic Rattlehead.

The series opened with the album’s lead single, “We’ll Be Back”; the song recently picked up a 2023 Grammy Award nomination in the Best Metal Performance category alongside finalists Ghost (“Call Me Little Sunshine”), Muse (“Kill Or Be Killed”), Ozzy Osbourne ft. Tony Iommi (“Degradation Rules”), and Turnstile (“Blackout”).

It’s the thirteenth nomination in the history of the band, who previously won the category in 2017 for the first time with the title track to the “Dystopia” album

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 5, 2023 starting at 8 pm ET on the CBS Network and streamed live and on-demand on Paramount+.

“The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!” sees Megadeth founder Dave Mustaine working alongside co-producer Chris Rakestraw (Danzig, Parkway Drive) on the project, which debuted at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200 earlier this fall.
