Set to begin in Los Angeles on June 30, the trek will see the iconic rocker performing a series of solo acoustic shows centered largely around songs he’s never played live.
The four-week run will now include a second appearance at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on July 10, and a new July 24 event in Lake Tahoe, NV; Chris Pierce will open all shows with tickets on sale for the full series.
Earlier this spring, Young released a pair of 1970s concert recordings as part of his Original Bootleg Series.
“Somewhere Under The Rainbow” captures Neil with the Santa Monica Flyers, recorded live in 1973 at the Rainbow Theatre in London, while a second package, “High Flyin’”, sees Young in the summer of 1977 in concert with a storied Northern California aggregation called The Ducks.
