The Hollywood Vampires Raise The Dead on Live In Rio album

The Hollywood Vampires are streaming video of a performance of their 2015 track, “Raise The Dead”, in sync with the release of their newly-available “Live In Rio” album.

The song from the supergroup’s self-titled debut was just one of the tunes delivered in a fall 2015 performance before more than 100,000 fans at the 30th anniversary edition of Brazil’s iconic Rock In Rio festival.

“Hollywood Vampires: Live In Rio” is now available in multiple formats, including CD+DVD Digipak, CD+Blu-ray Digipak, limited + numbered 2LP Gatefold Black.

The band – which released its second album, “Rise”, in 2019 – were set to launch the live record with a series of US East Coast dates this past week, but they were forced to reschedule as Johnny Depp continues to recover from an ankle injury.

“Johnny has sustained a painful injury to his ankle following his recent appearances and has been advised by his doctor not to travel,” says the band. “He is devastated by this turn of events, but looks forward to resting up so all four Vampires can bring their absolute best to the tour in Europe.”

Led by Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry, the supergroup was originally scheduled to perform on May 30 in Manchester, NH, May 31 in Boston, MA, and June 1 in Bethel, NY; all three shows have been moved to late July and tickets will be honored for the new dates.

July 28 – Boston, MA @ Wang Theatre Boch Center
July 29 – Manchester, NH @ SNHU Arena
July 30 – Bethel, NY @ Bethel Woods Center For The Arts
