The third single from “Pyromania” was featured during the rare, intimate show at the iconic venue as part of the launch of the UK band’s twelfth studio album, “Diamond Star Halos.”
Following the event, Def Leppard teamed up with Motley Crue for a rescheduled North American stadium tour that also featured Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.
The 36-show series went on to sell 1.3 million tickets to deliver $173.5 million in revenue at the box office, which Billboard says makes it the biggest tour of either Motley Crue’s or Def Leppard’s career, dating back to when the Billboard Boxscore began collecting data in the late 1980s.
