Greta Van Fleet share Nashville studio performance of The Falling Sky

Greta Van Fleet is sharing video of a Nashville studio performance of “The Falling Sky”, a track from their latest album, “Starcatcher.”

The song was originally featured as the fourth single from the 2023 record, which they recorded at the city’s historic RCA Studio A with producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Sammy Hagar).

Singer Josh Kiszka has described the tune as being inspired by “an unwavering warrior carrying on the endless, eternal, and impossible battle for salvation; these were the elements of symbolism associated with this particular track. In essence our fate is sealed, alike the stars that fall from the almighty heavens to the earth. This philosophy is carried through in the story of a bluesman, at the crossroads of the universe."

Upon its release last summer, “Starcatcher” debuted at No. 8 on the US Billboard 200, and landed at No. 1 on Top Rock Albums, Top Hard Rock Albums and Top Rock & Alternative Albums charts in the region.

Greta Van Fleet is gearing up to resume a tour in support of the set; they’ll next be seen at the Innings Festival in Tempe, AZ on February 23.
