As Metallica continue preparations for the 2013 edition of their Orion Music + More festival – set for June 8 and 9 at Belle Isle in Detroit, MI – they are reminding fans that the deadline for the Motorbreath Alley Gallery Art Contest is this weekend.
Presented as part of the Orion Custom Car & Motorcycle Show, the contest is an opportunity for car art enthusiasts to submit their work to the band for use in the gallery and for a chance to win passes to the weekend event.
The contest is open to those who create custom car art – everything from drawing cars to making stickers, custom stitch leather seats, pinstripe fenders, motorcycles or helmets.
Fans can enter photos of their work via email to info@orionmusicandmore.com; deadline is Sunday, May 19th at 11:59 PDT.
Metallica’s James Hetfield will judge the entries and three winners will receive a pair of 2 Day Passes to Orion Music + More.
