Ahead of his upcoming North American tour in support of “Unstoppable Momentum,” guitarist Joe Satriani will perform the national anthem at the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix in Laguna Beach, California on July 21.
In addition to Satriani’s appearance, the ninth consecutive year at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix will also see a concert featuring the original members of Bob Marley's The Wailers, as well as a wide assortment of activities over the 3-day weekend event.
Satriani is currently on the road in Europe; that swing wraps July 13 before the guitarist launches his North American dates in San Diego on August 29.
This spring, “Unstoppable Momentum” debuted at #42 on the Billboard 200 charts with first-week sales of around 11,000 copies, marking Satriani’s highest US chart debut in over 20 years.
