VIDEO: Megadeth bassist checks in from Black Sabbath tour in Buenos Aires

Megadeth bassist David Ellefson has posted some behind-the-scenes video from Buenos Aires, Argentina and the second night (Oct. 6) of the band’s South American tour supporting Black Sabbath.

The two groups are playing a 9-show series of dates across the continent this month, wrapping up in Mexico City, Mexico on October 26.

Megadeth have been on the road since the late spring release of their new album, “Super Collider.”

Ellefson will publish his autobiography, “My Life With Deth”, on October 29 and has announced a series of book signings to launch the project.

The memoir chronicles the story of Ellefson's fall into addiction during the band's early years, followed by his subsequent recovery and the return to faith which championed the band's rise to fame over the past several decades.

“My Life With Deth” was written with Joel McIver, and features a foreword by Alice Cooper; it also includes contributions from Kerry King (Slayer), Scott Ian (Anthax), Ellefson's current bandmate in Megadeth, Shawn Drover, as well as former colleagues Chris Poland and Marty Friedman.
