VIDEO: Bruce Springsteen performs at Stand Up For Heroes benefit

Bruce Springsteen was one of the featured performers at the 7th annual Stand Up For Heroes benefit as part of The New York Comedy Festival on Wednesday, and video of his appearance is available.

Springsteen sprinkled jokes throughout his short three-song headlining set, which included acoustic versions of “Dancing In The Dark” and “If I Should Fall Behind”, as well as a pump organ-based cover of Suicide’s “Dream Baby Dream.”

Organized by the Bob Woodruff Foundation, the event at the Theater at Madison Square Garden raises funds for injured service members, veterans and their families. In its first six years, the event raised more than $16 million to support wounded warriors and their families.

In addition to Springsteen, Stand Up For Heroes also featured performances by Roger Waters, Jerry Seinfeld, Jon Stewart, Bill Cosby and others.
