Santana covers Howlin’ Wolf

We’ve been giving you a “sneak peek” at Santana’s “Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics Of All Time,” all day today at hennemusic.

The new disc is in stores tomorrow, but we’ve been previewing a new track at the top of each hour today, starting at 6:00 a.m. eastern.

Jonny Lang joins Santana for the final track of the standard edition of the new disc, a cover of the Howlin’ Wolf classic, “I Ain’t Superstitious.”

The deluxe edition of “Guitar Heaven” features two additional tracks and a DVD of “behind the scenes” footage from the studio, interviews with the guest vocalists on the album and the producers, as well as an extensive one-on-one interview with Carlos Santana and Clive Davis.

The “bonus” tracks are:

- “Fortunate Son” featuring Creed's Scott Stapp, originally recorded by Creedence Clearwater Revival
- “Under the Bridge” featuring Andy Vargas, originally recorded by the Red Hot Chili Peppers
