I told you a few weeks back about news regarding Steven Tyler’s debut single, “Love Lives” (see original story here).
Tyler recorded the theme song for the live-action "Space Battleship Yamato" movie, which opens in Japan on December 1.
The song premiered on Japanese radio last Friday and has now surfaced online.
“Love Lives” is being billed as Tyler’s first solo project; the single goes on sale in Japan on November 24. The four-track “single” includes a full version, acoustic version, piano version and as an instrumental.
Tyler wrote the song for "Yamato" after studying a translated script and the video materials for the movie's final scene. The ballad expresses the concept of wanting to protect a loved one.
