Bruce Springsteen to rock Jimmy Fallon November 16

Funny, I posted earlier today about the upcoming rock acts scheduled to appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and there’s another BIG announcement.

Bruce Springsteen will make his only scheduled live tv performance this year on Fallon’s show next Tuesday, November 16, to celebrate the simultaneous releases of Springsteen's "The Promise" 2-CD set and "The Promise: The Darkness on the Edge of Town Story" 6-disc set.

Springsteen sits down with Fallon to chat about the hours of unheard songs and unseen footage in the two releases.

“The Promise” 2-CD set contains 21 never-before-released tracks from the 'Darkness' sessions and much more.

"The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story," a 6-disc deluxe set (including 3 CDs and 3 DVDs), features eight hours and 33 minutes of audio and video and contains the internationally celebrated documentary "The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town" as well as the complete "The Promise" 2-CD set.

As a long-time Springsteen fan, Fallon opened the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony with a star-studded performance of Springsteen's 'Born to Run' during his first-ever stint as host.
