New video: R.E.M. “Mine Smell Like Honey”

R.E.M. have just released the video for "Mine Smell Like Honey," the first radio single from the band’s forthcoming album, “Collapse Into Now,” due out March 8.

The video was directed by Dominic DeJoseph, who has directed music videos for R.E.M, including "Bittersweet Me," and "New Test Leper" (co-directed with Lance Bangs) from “New Adventures In Hi-Fi,” tour films for “Monster,” as well as music videos for Jenny Lewis, Tilly and The Wall, The Stills, Ryan Adams, The Dandy Warhols and Natalie Merchant.

“Collapse Into Now” is produced by Garret "Jacknife" Lee (Snow Patrol, U2), and was recorded in different cities -- Berlin, Nashville, New Orleans -- with breaks between to write and rewrite songs.
