Robert Plant announces Spring 2011 U.S. shows

Robert Plant and the Band Of Joy return to the stage tonight in Asheville, North Carolina to resume their current tour.

This second leg of North American dates run for about 4 weeks, ending with two shows in Nashville early next month.

Good news for Plant fans: more shows have been added across the States in April.

Apr 17 - Vancouver, BC (The Queen Elizabeth Theater)
Apr 19 - Portland, OR (The Schnitzer)
Apr 20 - Seattle, WA (The Paramount)
Apr 22 - Berkeley, CA (The Greek)
Apr 23 - Los Angeles, CA (The Greek)
Apr 25 - Santa Barbara, CA (The Santa Barbara Bowl)
Apr 27 - Denver, CO (The Fillmore)


The Band Of Joy album is up for two Grammy Awards (“Best Americana Album” and “Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance”) at this year's ceremony on February 13.

Plant is also nominated for "Best British Male Solo Artist" at the 2011 BRIT awards, his first nomination. The BRIT Awards will be held in London on February 15.
