Def Leppard release live album details

Details about the much-talked about Def Leppard live album have now surfaced.

“Mirrorball” will feature a mix of live Leppard classics, three brand new studio songs and a bonus DVD that contains live performances and intimate backstage footage captured on the road.

The band has not confirmed a release date for the record, but do say that “Mirrorball” will be out this summer.

Leppard kick off their 2011 World Tour with a headline gig at the Download Festival on June 10, joining System Of A Down and Linkin Park as headliners for the weekend event.

Leppard remain one of the world's biggest and most successful live acts. The band last played the UK in 2009 - headlining Download, that year, after a hugely successful sold out UK Arena tour in 2008.
