In the past year, I’ve committed to developing the site as a news service dedicated to providing music fans with an accurate, timely and reliable source for rock news; I’m proud to say I’ve achieved those goals on many levels.
hennemusic news reports are regularly featured by trusted media brands, dedicated artist fan sites, and are shared by music fans around the globe.
I’ve managed to break some big stories, develop some cool series and features, open the hennemusic store, and even launch the hennemusic Rock News Awards – whose winners are determined by you.
The biggest step in my first year was hooking up with antiMusic, one of the premier rock music news sites in the world.
An online music network of more than 30 websites, antiMusic collates reports from the network to create the Day In Rock. Last fall, hennemusic became the first “official news provider” for the Day In Rock.

I also need to thank the many rockers who post YouTube videos of daily music events; a new “citizen-as-reporter” reality is replacing conventional media outlets because of the reach and timely nature of the information-sharing age we find ourselves in.
I remain focused on presenting quality rock news for fans across the globe, and am continuing to work on new ideas to explore for, and with, rock fans in the coming year.
