Neil Young wins first music Grammy

Neil Young picked up his first music Grammy on Sunday at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, taking top prize in the “Best Rock Song” category.

Young won for “Angry World,” from his Daniel Lanois-produced 2010 disc, “Le Noise.”

Neil accepted his honor during the pre-show ceremony, saying "This is my first Grammy for music, and it's appreciated greatly.”

Last year, Young won his first-ever Grammy in the "Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package" category for his work on the boxed set "Neil Young Archives Vol. 1 (1963-1972)."

Neil was not selected as the winner in the two other categories that he was up for on Sunday: “Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance” went to Paul McCartney, while “Best Rock Album” was presented to Muse.
