Jack White launches Rolling Record Store

Damn that Jack White is good.

Left to his own devices in music or business, White seems to continually find a way to push the rock n roll envelope, and he’s done it again.

According to stats provided by White’s Third Man Records, 97% of high school-aged kids have never been to a stand alone record store.

So…if people won’t go to/can’t find a record store, Jack will bring it to the people.

That’s the simple idea behind the Rolling Record Store, a yellow Third Man truck outfitted with its own music store.

The promo video shows racks of vinyl and a set of turntables inside the portable business.

The Rolling Record Store debuts next week at the SXSW Festival in Austin.

I bet the bookmobile never rocked this hard.
