VIDEO: Metallica 30th Anniversary documentary surfaces

"Drummer looking for other metal musicians to jam with.
Tygers of Pan Tang, Diamond Head and Iron Maiden."

A 1981 newspaper ad run by drummer Lars Ulrich got things started and, 30 years later, Metallica are on top of the world.

It wasn’t that easy, of course, but there’s certainly a helluva lotta history – and history-making – created by the metal icons.

A new 150-minute, fan-produced video documentary has surfaced with helps track Metallica’s history and organize it for fans.

The documentary, which uses previously released footage, was created by ZonaMetallica and MilanicaChannel and features Italian subtitles.

Grab a beverage, sit back and enjoy 30 years of Metallica magic…
