VIDEO: Great White pay tribute to Jani Lane

A public memorial was held Monday in Los Angeles for former Warrant singer Jani Lane, who passed away August 11 under mysterious circumstances.

The event - at the Key Club in Hollywood - featured performances by fellow metal rock bands, including Great White, Quiet Riot, Enuff Z’Nuff and L.A. Guns.

Great White singer Jack Russell made a special appearance at the show; Lane had filled in for Russell with Great White last summer while the singer dealt with some health issues.

Lane’s autopsy proved inconclusive pending the results of toxicology tests; Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said it may take seven or eight weeks to finalize the cause of death.
