VIDEO: Nick Mason, The Shins launch Pink Floyd week on Jimmy Fallon

Pink Floyd fans are enjoying five nights of their fave band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this week, as he salutes the legendary British group.

The timing of the Fallon episodes isn’t coincidental: it’s to help the band promote their massive reissue campaign – think of what Fallon did for The Rolling Stones and their “Exile On Main St.” reissue last year and you get the picture.

The campaign kicks off this week with the reissue of Pink Floyd's 14 studio albums, from 1967's "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" to 1994's "The Division Bell," both individually and as part of a 16-CD Discovery boxed set. Also being released Tuesday are expanded editions of "The Dark Side of the Moon" -- including a deluxe Immersion boxed set that features several unreleased tracks, an early 1972 mix of the record, and a 1974 performance of "Dark Side" in concert, along with photos and art from the period.

Monday night, Floyd drummer Nick Mason was the first guest of the week, sitting down with the host to discuss the project.

The Shins were the first musical guests, performing the Dark Side classic, “Breathe.”

This week, fans can look forward to the Foo Fighters and Roger Waters play “In The Flesh” (Tue), MGMT perform “Lucifer Sam” (Wed), Dierks Bentley does “Wish You Were Here” (Thu), and Friday rocks with Pearl Jam doing “Mother.”
