Rolling Stones, James Durbin lead this week’s new releases

Rock heavyweights are starting to bring out the big guns with new releases for the holiday season.

Topping the list this week is the major “Some Girls” reissue by The Rolling Stones; the 1978 album now comes with a bonus disc featuring tracks from the original sessions…and then there’s the “Some Girls Live In Texas” concert DVD for fans to take in, as well.

The debut from James Durbin should get a lot of attention from music buyers, along with the Chris Cornell live set, "Songbook," recorded on his spring tour. There’s new Nickelback and Daughtry, the massive Rush box set, “Sectors,” and more on this week’ list of rock releases.
