Keith Richards recovering from surgery

Keith Richards is recovering from surgery.

Rolling Stone reports Keith’s spokesperson says the guitar legend has undergone laser eye surgery and is "doing very well."

The Mirror reports Richards had the treatment done at a London clinic before Christmas to celebrate his 68th birthday.

The surgery reportedly took about 15 minutes and means Keith will no longer need glasses.

“He’s music’s ultimate survivor but not even the seemingly immortal Keith Richards can stop the march of time,” a source told the UK paper. “It was a harmless, quick procedure and he’s very happy with the results.”

A friend said Keith wore an eyepatch after the operation, making him look like one of the characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean films he was in with pal Johnny Depp.

The Stones are rumored to be in talks for some special 50th Anniversary celebrations this year.
