More Van Halen video has surfaced.
As part of the band’s ‘song by song’ series for their new album, “A Different Kind Of Truth,” VH frontman David Lee Roth has been stepping up to add some background stories to the new tracks.
For “HoneyBabySweetieDoll,” Roth recaps some of the lyrics and then unleashes his vocal test demo from July of 2010.
Industry sources suggest that “A Different Kind of Truth” could be a #1 album for the band, with speculation that it may sell about 180,000 to 200,000 copies by the end of the sales week on Sunday, February 12.
Van Halen will be battling Adele for top spot; she’s currently enjoying her 19th non-consecutive week at #1, with sales of 122,000 copies last week. Adele’s appearance on the Grammys this Sunday – which marks her return to live performance following vocal cord surgery last fall – may translate into a sales boost that could make for a close race.
