The Osbourne family may be returning to television.
C21 Media reports Ozzy Osbourne and his family are voicing stop-motion animated versions of themselves in a new comedy sitcom called “The F’n Osbournes.”
Canada’s Cuppa Coffee Studios is producing the series, which is currently seeking financing.
“Teaming up with Cuppa Coffee has spawned a great opportunity to produce a unique animated prime-time show,” said Sharon Osbourne. “I’ve been excited about animating our often crazy lives for a while now.”
Jack Osbourne, who will co-executive produce the show alongside his wannabe famous mother, promises the show will be “a radical and humorous new spin on our family.”
The Osbournes' original MTV series (2002-2005) launched a wave of imitators and the dawn of the latest era in reality-based tv programs.
Ozzy is currently working with 2/3 of Black Sabbath on a reunion album.
