Robert Plant to debut new band at UK gig

Robert Plant returns to live action next month with a low-key warm-up show and a new band.

This Is Gloucestershire reports Plant will debut his new band, The Sensational Space Shifters, at a May 8 concert at the Gloucester Guildhall in Gloucester, England.

"It gives me great pleasure to announce Led Zeppelin frontman and award-winning solo artist Robert Plant will be performing an exclusive low-key warm-up show at Gloucester Guildhall next month,” said Programming and Marketing Manager Joe Schiavon. "This is obviously a massive show for us, and we can't wait to host it.”

"The show, entitled Robert Plant Presents Sensational Space Shifters, will be his first with his new band, ahead of a busy summer festival schedule."

The band will include members of Plant’s former backing band, Strange Sensation, along with regular collaborator Justin Adams.

Not what I was expecting a little country'ish but with a nice edge to it,band sounds great and Robert Plants vocals sound amazing, could have done without she synth sounding stuff, but guitarist shreds and not to sound redundant but Plant sounds, well like plant, just a bit older

the video above is from 2005/2006 and isn't the new lineup...nothing has been posted yet from the new band.

Who really, "I mean "REALLY" cares?" If not with the Zep originals he may as well just stay home and stop playing this new garbage.

Band mates egos sure do suck for us fans.
