On Wednesday, Aerosmith debuted their new single, “Legendary Child,” on the season finale of American Idol.

The song is from their forthcoming new album, "Music From Another Dimension," which will be released August 28. It will also appear in the film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," which hits theatres on June 29.
“Legendary Child” has some Aerosmith history: it was originally recorded during the sessions for the band’s 1993 album, “Get A Grip.”
