Van Halen’s David Lee Roth has released episode number 5 in his new series of videos under the banner “The Roth Show.”
This time out, Roth discusses NYC's Cafe Wha? and the origins of his 1986 album, “Eat 'Em And Smile.”
Also included is the music video for “Goin' Crazy!” (starring the Fabulous Picasso brothers) with commentary from DLR, and viewers get a guided tour of Dave's art collection.
Van Halen continue on their hiatus from the “A Different Kind Of Truth” tour as Eddie Van Halen recuperates following surgery for a severe bout of Diverticulitis that will have him sidelined for the remainder of the year.
Eddie’s health issue, which flared up following the end of the first leg of the band’s tour, caused the postponement and eventual cancellation of a series of Van Halen concert dates across North America this summer, and the postponement of a series of dates in Japan that were scheduled for November.
News of Van Halen’s rescheduled Japanese dates was confirmed a few weeks ago: the band will play the Tokyo Dome on June 21 and Osaka’s City Central Gymnasium on June 24 and 26.
