Thin Lizzy cancel most Australian headline dates

Due to circumstances "way beyond the band's control," Thin Lizzy have announced the cancellation of the following headline appearances on the forthcoming Australia tour:

Mar 02 - Selina’s Coogee Bay Hotel - Coogee, AUS
Mar 08 - Evan Theatre at Panthers - Penrith, AUS
Mar 13 - Coolangatta Hotel - Coolangatta, AUS
Mar 15 - The Venue - Townsville, AUS
Mar 17 - Brothers Leagues Club Cairns - Manunda, AUS

All Thin Lizzy shows announced with KISS and Motley Crue will take place along with the headline show at Melbourne's Billboard on March 4th.

Ticket refunds are available at point of purchase.

Thin Lizzy have recently morphed into the new band, Black Star Riders.

The group completed recording their debut album last week, after less than a month in the studio with producer Kevin Shirley; release date is to be announced.

After touring the past few years as Thin Lizzy, the lineup adopted the new band name to start the project with a clean slate, and out of respect to the legacy of the late Phil Lynott.
