Compressorhead, the robot band from Berlin, rocked the AC/DC classic "TNT" on the German TV program "Die Bülent Ceylan Show" this week.
The group, which bills themselves as “the world’s heaviest metal band,” is made up of guitarist Fingers, bassist Bones and drummer Stickboy.
With 78 purpose-built fingers, guitarist Fingers was built by Kernschrott Robots, a company that creates direct recycling of discarded metal and industrial waste, converting metal parts and discarded devices into sculptures and objects of art.
Created by Robocross Machines, Stickboy uses 4 arms and 2 legs to plays his 14 piece Pearl drum kit with a double kick bass drum setup.
The robot band’s setlist includes tracks by Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and The Ramones, among others.
