David Lee Roth sat down with Alyona of HuffPost Live on Tuesday to discuss all things Van Halen as the band continues to surface to promote upcoming dates in Australia and Japan in support of their latest album, “A Different Kind Of Truth.”
“I was rehearsing with the band last night,” explained Diamond Dave. “’The Mighty Van Halen’! Up out of the ashes! Or, at least out of the pajamas and onto the street! What more do you want of me?”
“It’s going superb!,” Roth continued. “We’re getting ready to play in Australia… then we have 30,000 of our closest friends at the Tokyo Dome… and then from there we have a few more shows this season.”
The pair also talk at length about the singer’s personal and professional history, his love of broadcasting and, specifically his new video series “The Roth Show,” which he says has reached over 3 million downloads.
