Rob Zombie to headline at Sturgis Buffalo Chip Music Festival



Rob Zombie has been announced as the latest headliner for the 2013 Sturgis Buffalo Chip Music Festival this August.

Zombie will play August 7, topping a bill with Mastodon and Machine Head.

The rocker will be promoting his new album, “Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor,” due April 23. Zombie just released the video for the project’s lead single, “Dead City Radio And The New Gods Of Supertown.”

“Rob Zombie is a living icon with so many highly acclaimed accomplishments behind him we have no doubt he’ll make an impact fans will remember for years to come,” says Rod Woodruff, owner of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. “Fans are absolutely thrilled to have Rob Zombie join the Chip’s festival lineup this year.”

The 32nd annual Sturgis Buffalo Chip motorcycle and music festival takes place August 2-11, 2013 during the annual Sturgis motorcycle rally. The summer music festival lineup already includes Kid Rock, Toby Keith, ZZ Top, Halestorm, Brantley Gilbert, Queensrÿche and Sublime with Rome. More bands will be announced soon.
