Scott Weiland’s drummer quits



Scott Weiland has announced the next leg of his "Purple To The Core" tour but a member of his backing band, The Wildabouts, has quit the group.

Drummer Danny Thompson informed fans via his Facebook page about his decision.

"I have just officially QUIT The Scott Weiland Solo Band,” he wrote. “Loved playing with the guys for 7 years but It's a matter of self worth. Not going to elaborate."

Weiland has not yet announced a replacement.

The new tour dates are set to kick off on May 29th at the House of Blues in Hollywood, Ca and will include stops in Arizona, Nevada and California.
