VIDEO: Megadeth wraps up Iron Maiden tour in California

Prior to teaming up with Black Sabbath for the just-completed Latin American tour, Megadeth joined Iron Maiden for a series of seven US dates, and bassist David Ellefson is now sharing behind the scenes footage of the pair’s final show in San Bernardino, California on September 13.

The video includes Dave Mustaine cutting a guitar-shaped cake as he celebrated his 52nd birthday at the show.

Ellefson’s new autobiography, “My Life With Deth”, is being published today.

The memoir chronicles the story of Ellefson's fall into addiction during the band's early years, followed by his subsequent recovery and the return to faith which championed the band's rise to fame over the past several decades.

“My Life With Deth” was written with Joel McIver, and features a foreword by Alice Cooper; it also includes contributions from Kerry King (Slayer), Scott Ian (Anthax), Ellefson's current bandmate in Megadeth, Shawn Drover, as well as former colleagues Chris Poland and Marty Friedman.

Ellefson is launching the project with a series of book signings - for a list of dates, click here.

Megadeth will kick off a full Super Collider US tour on November 23 in St. Paul, MN.; joining them will be openers Fear Factory and Nonpoint.
