David Bowie has issued a second video for his track, “Love Is Lost (Hello Steve Reich Mix By James Murphy For The DFA)”, from the new release, “The Next Day Extra.”
Directed by Barnaby Roper, the clip features a variety of stunning, hi-tech images.
Bowie’s original video (below), which featured puppets, was shot on home video and edited in his Manhattan office, with a reported total production cost of $12.99.
“The Next Day Extra” is a 3-disc set that includes the original 14-track CD of his 2013 album, a 10-track CD of bonus tracks and a DVD of the four promotional films made for the record: “Where Are We Now?”, “The Stars (Are Out Tonight)”, “The Next Day” and “Valentine’s Day.”
The 10-track bonus CD includes four previously unreleased tracks, two new mixes and “God Bless The Girl”, the track that was only released on the Japanese issue of “The Next Day”. The remaining three tracks gather up the bonus tracks from the deluxe version of the album.
The package also features a lyric booklet and a book of stills from the promo videos.
