Black Sabbath: 1970s catalog now available on iTunes

Black Sabbath’s 1970s catalog is now available on iTunes for the first time.

The band’s classic era includes 8 studio albums – from 1970s’ self-titled debut to 1978’s “Never Say Die!”, individually and as a bundle (“The Complete Studio Albums 1970-1978”), the 1976 compilation “We Sold Our Soul For Rock ‘N’ Roll”, and 2006’s “Greatest Hits 1970-1978”, which was released in connection with their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

All of the projects have been remastered specifically for iTunes.

“It’s about f**king time the first eight Black Sabbath albums were made available on iTunes in the U.S.,” said Ozzy Osbourne.

“Great news,” added guitarist Tony Iommi, “been a long time trying to explain to fans why the music wasn’t available.”

“It's going to be great to finally have the catalogue accessible on iTunes,” said bassist Geezer Butler.

The Black Sabbath releases are available via the iTunes and Amazon links below.

The band will kick off their 2014 live dates in support of their latest album, “13”, with a series of North American dates starting March 31 in New York.
