Boston guitarist to be featured on Secret Life web series

Boston guitarist Tom Scholz will be featured on an upcoming episode of “The Secret Life Of Scientists And Engineers”, an Emmy-nominated web-series from the acclaimed PBS series, Nova.

Secret Life profiles today’s leading scientists - and shows what they’re like when the lab coats come off – like a biochemist who competed for Miss America and a microbiologist who’s a professional wrestler.

Prior to his musical career, Scholz received both a bachelor's degree (1969) and a master's degree (1970) in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and worked for Polaroid Corporation as a senior product design engineer.

A broadcast date for the Scholz episode is to be announced.

Last month, Boston released a new album, “Life Love & Hope.”

The project is the group’s first new release since 2002’s “Corporate America.”

“Life Love & Hope” includes lead vocals from the late Brad Delp, Tommy DeCarlo, Kimberley Dahme, David Victor and Scholz, and features tracks with the classic Boston sound, as well as the latest in the evolution of Scholz' musical artistry.
