Aerosmith and Slash have confirmed that they will hook up for a summer US tour.
“It's official- we just talked, AEROSMITH/SLASH USA tour confirmed!!,” posted Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry on his social media sites Friday evening. “Tickets on sale next few wks Soon as dates confirmed.LET ROCK RULE !”
“Great news! We'll be touring the US with @Aerosmith this summer!” posted Slash. “Stay tuned for dates. Its going to be a killer tour! R n Fn' R! iiii]; )'”
Aerosmith are set to resume their Global Warming Tour in support of their latest album, "Music From Another Dimension", on May 14 in Istanbul, Turkey…with European shows wrapping up in Kharkov, Ukraine on July 2.
The group is scheduled to headline Rockfest in Cadott, Wisconsin on July 19, the only summer US date announced so far.
Slash, meanwhile, is in the studio recording the follow up to 2012’s “Apocalyptic Love.”
