Dio to release 1993 London concert



“Live In London: Hammersmith Apollo”, a new package featuring Dio recorded in concert in 1993, will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, 2CD and digital formats on May 12 (May 13 in North America).

Filmed at London, England's Hammersmith Apollo on December 12, 1993, this previously unreleased concert film captures the then newly-reformed Dio band on the last night of their European tour in support of the "Strange Highways" album.

The Dio lineup included singer Ronnie James Dio, guitarist Tracy G, bassist Jeff Pilson and drummer Vinny Appice.

Ronnie James Dio died of stomach cancer on May 16, 2010 at the age of 67.
