Motorhead's Motorboat cruise to feature Megadeth, Anthrax and more

Motorhead have revealed the lineup for the band’s first-ever cruise, Motorboat, which will set sail this fall.

Joining the iconic rockers on what is being billed as “The Loudest Boat in The World” will be Megadeth, Anthrax, Zakk Wylde, Jim Breuer, Danko Jones, Fireball Ministry, Wilson and more.

Motorhead’s Motorboat will sail September 22-26 on the Carnival Cruise Lines Ecstasy from Miami to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico.

The cruise will feature concerts, artist meet and greets, Q&A sessions, wet and wild parties, crazy theme nights and more.

“This will be everything you’ve come to expect from a night out with us, except even louder, with more great bands and no way of escaping!” says Lemmy Kilmister. “If you thought waves could rock a boat, you’ve got another thing coming with this lovely little outing!”

“There never has and never will be another cruise like Motorboat cruise,” adds Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. “Come on a thrashing voyage with Motorhead, Megadeth, Anthrax, Zakk Wylde and all Lemmy’s friends. This is the coolest way to ever see a metal concert.”

The Carnival Ecstasy, which recently underwent a multi-million-dollar refurbishment, features a tropical-themed resort-style main pool area, multiple dining options (including a 24-hour pizzeria), 12,000-square-foot Spa Carnival health club, a jogging track, as well as 12 lounges, bars and nightspots.

Motorboat cabins will go on-sale Tuesday, March 18th at 12:00pm ET.

In January, Motorhead cancelled their spring European tour in support of their latest album, “Aftershock”, due to Lemmy’s ongoing health issues; the dates were originally scheduled for last fall, but were postponed at the time.
