Nazareth announce new album

Scottish rockers Nazareth will release a new album, “Rock ‘N’ Roll Telephone”, in the UK on June 9th.

The band’s 23rd studio album and first since 2011’s “Big Dogz” features what may be the last album with founding member and original singer Dan McCafferty, who retired from the group last year due to health issues. The vocalist has been dealing with C.O.P.D. ( Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease), which had gotten worse in the past two years.

“Rock ‘N’ Roll Telephone” will released as a standard CD and double LP, as well as in a Deluxe Digipack edition will include a second disc with two additional studio recordings and five live tracks.

Nazareth formed in December 1968 in Dunfermline, Scotland, and have gone on to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide.

Following an extensive audition process, the band recently named Lintin Osborne as their new frontman.
