VIDEO: Metallica release Bogota concert footage

Metallica launched a South American tour in Bogota, Columbia on March 16, and now the band is sharing behind-the-scenes and performance video from opening night.

The footage includes the group in the Tuning Room working on their new song, "The Lords Of Summer" (which made its debut that night), as well as "...And Justice for All." Also included is the new "Metallica By Request” intro video with some commentary from James Hetfield, followed by the band in the pre-show huddle, and a performance of "Blackened" from the concert.

Metallica have been playing “The Lords Of Summer” throughout the South American run, which wraps March 30; the band will then bring its “request” show to Europe for dates beginning May 28 in Helsinki, Finland and to the Heavy Montreal festival in August.
